Tristian Plumley Obituary, Death; – A motorcyclist has died following a traffic accident on the Belt Highway early Wednesday morning, as reported by the St. Joseph Police Department.

At around 1:57 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, the SJPD arrived at the intersection of North Belt Highway and Blackwell Road in response to a traffic collision involving several motorcycles.

Two individuals were involved in the incident; one suffered injuries and was taken to Mosaic Life Care for medical attention.

The second motorcyclist, identified as Tristian Plumley, 23, from St. Joseph, Missouri, was discovered unresponsive at the scene.

Plumley was transported by Buchanan County EMS to Mosaic Life Care, where he was pronounced deceased.

The SJPD reported that a third motorcycle was part of the incident but had left the scene prior to the officers’ arrival.

By Wednesday afternoon, the SJPD had identified the third motorcyclist involved in the incident.

The SJPD Traffic Reconstruction Unit has been called to investigate the incident, which remains under investigation at this time.
