Trinh Thi Vu Obituary, Death: – Toronto police have confirmed the identity of a woman who was reportedly murdered by a suspected serial killer earlier this month. In a press briefing on Friday, officials announced that 66-year-old Trinh Thi Vu was found deceased at a residence located near the intersection of Keele Street and Dundas Street West on the afternoon of October 1. Although signs of trauma were evident on her body, the authorities have not yet revealed the specific cause of death.
Trinh Thi Vu has now been identified as the 69th homicide victim in the city for the year 2024. Last week, police apprehended 30-year-old Sabrina Kauldhar, charging her with second-degree murder in relation to Vu’s death.
Kauldhar is also facing murder charges in connection with two additional cases in Hamilton and Niagara Falls, involving the deaths of Lance Cunningham on October 2 and Mario Bilich on October 3. Investigators have noted that Kauldhar and Vu were acquainted, although further details regarding their relationship have not been disclosed. In contrast, Cunningham and Bilich are believed to have been “randomly targeted.”
