Travon Maurice Harden Obituary, Death;- A man died from a shooting at a Macon motel Tuesday night, according to the Bibb County Coroner’s Office. A 911 call reported the shooting before 7:30 p.m. at Economy Hotel, a motel at 4295 Pio Nono Avenue, Coroner Leon Jones and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said. “When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered a male in the parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
Paramedics took the man to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead around 8 p.m., Jones said. The victim was identified as Travon Maurice Harden, a Macon man, according to the sheriff’s office. Jones said he was 25 years old, but deputies said he was 26. Harden’s family was notified of his death by 11 p.m., according to the BCSO.
