Travion Jacoa Jones, Obituary, Death; – The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a man who was fatally shot in late August in south Minneapolis. Travion Jacoa Jones, a 35-year-old resident of Ramsey, succumbed to a gunshot wound to the chest, as reported on Wednesday.
According to the Minneapolis police, Jones was discovered with gunshot wounds at the intersection of Lake Street and Park Avenue on the evening of August 30. He was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center for medical assistance but ultimately passed away due to his injuries.
Authorities suspect that a dispute among a group of individuals escalated into gunfire. Additionally, two other men arrived at different hospitals with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, which police believe were likely sustained during the same incident that resulted in Jones’s death.
