Todd Walker Obituary, Death; – At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Friday, deputies from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office were sent to Travis Street in Westlake regarding a vehicle accident.
During the preliminary investigation, it was discovered that a 4-wheeler had overturned for reasons that remain unclear at this moment, resulting in the driver being ejected. The driver, identified as Todd Walker, aged 39, was taken to a local hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
The investigation is still in progress. At the time of the accident, the driver was not wearing a helmet. CPSO Sgt. Cody Fontenot is overseeing the investigation into this incident. Additionally, Acadian Ambulance and the Westlake Fire Department provided assistance at the scene.
