Timothy Elliott Allen Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the individual who was tragically struck and killed by a train in Greensboro on Sunday.

At approximately 10:42 a.m. on that day, law enforcement officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of East Market Street, located behind a commercial establishment, following reports of an incident involving a pedestrian and a train that resulted in injury. The Greensboro Fire Department and Guilford County EMS also arrived at the location.

Upon their arrival, officials discovered that Timothy Elliott Allen, a 63-year-old resident of Greensboro, had suffered fatal injuries from the train collision. Investigators have indicated that there is no suspicion of foul play, and the inquiry into the incident is still in progress.
