Thomas Heath Obituary, Death; – A 61-year-old man passed away following a collision east of Lincoln on Monday afternoon, as reported by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office. At approximately 12:30 p.m., deputies and personnel from Eagle Fire & Rescue arrived at the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 162nd and O streets.
According to investigators, a 2007 Ford Focus, operated by Thomas Heath, was heading east on O Street when it veered into the westbound lane, resulting in a collision with a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 32-year-old Yaniel Munoz-Chember. Heath was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, as stated by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office. Munoz-Chember received treatment for minor injuries at the scene. Investigators confirmed that both drivers were wearing seatbelts, and there is no indication that alcohol or drug use contributed to the accident.
