Terra Richmond Obituary, Death; – Authorities have reported that a 22-year-old woman from Stillwater lost her life in a collision on State Highway 33 in Payne County on Wednesday night.
According to a collision report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. when a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, traveling east on State Highway 33, attempted to overtake four vehicles in a designated passing zone. During this maneuver, the Malibu collided head-on with a 2011 Ford F-250. The driver of the Malibu was declared deceased at the scene, and she has been identified as Terra Richmond by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The driver of the F-250 was transported to a hospital in Stillwater, where she received treatment and was subsequently released. Troopers have attributed the cause of the accident to improper overtaking without adequate clearance.
