Suzanne Sites-Fenton Obituary, Death; – Almost 25 years after an Adelanto woman vanished from a parking lot in Victorville, law enforcement officials have announced an arrest in connection with her murder.
Suzanne Sites-Fenton was last seen in April 2001 when she left her position at Mervyn’s to take a break, as reported by detectives. Her husband filed a missing person report when she failed to return home that evening.

The next day, her vehicle was located abandoned, and her remains were found in a secluded area of Hesperia.
Investigators revealed that Sites-Fenton had been abducted, sexually assaulted, and shot. Recently, cold case homicide detectives identified the suspect as Raymond Silva Gonzales, 51, from Hesperia.
Detectives apprehended Gonzales on Thursday, and he is currently being held without bail.
Authorities have not disclosed additional information regarding the investigation or the factors that led detectives to identify Gonzales as a suspect after more than twenty years.
