Susan Hammerton Obituary, Death; – A man accused of fatally stabbing a woman in her Pittsfield Township home will undergo testing to determine if he can be held responsible.
Although testing has determined Anthony Flanagan can understand court proceedings, he has been ordered to additional testing to clarify if he was competent at the time Susan Hammerton was killed. The testing was ordered June 3 by Washtenaw County Trial Court Judge Carol Kuhnke, according to court records.
