Stephen Fleck Obituary, death; – A driver charged with the fatal collision that resulted in the death of a man and his dog in Madison in 2023 entered a plea of not guilty on Wednesday, according to court documents.

The plea was submitted on behalf of Tiambra Walker in the Dane County Circuit Court. The 23-year-old faces allegations of hit-and-run resulting in death, homicide due to intoxicated operation of a vehicle, and felony bail jumping. If found guilty, she could face a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison along with a fine of $25,000.

These charges stem from the tragic incident that occurred on Schroeder Road on February 15, 2023, which claimed the life of 66-year-old Stephen Fleck. Walker was apprehended in March, more than a year following the incident, in Peoria, Illinois. Court records indicate that she is set to appear for a pre-trial conference on February 7, 2025.
