Stacy Yingling Obituary, Death; – Cambria County coroner Jeff Lees has confirmed the identity of the individual who perished in last week’s tragic fire at a residence on Wilson Street, located in the West End area of Johnstown.
According to Lees, 55-year-old Stacy Yingling was discovered by firefighters on the second level of the duplex.
Authorities report that she sustained thermal burns covering 100% of her body.
Investigators have indicated that Yingling was using oxygen, and last week, fire officials stated that smoking is believed to have contributed to the fire.
Lees further mentioned that although a state police fire marshal is currently examining the official cause of the fire, it is not considered to be suspicious.
Last week’s fatal incident marked the third deadly fire in Johnstown since Halloween.
