Shyanne Mitchell Obituary, Death; – A woman who lost her life in a shooting incident on Friday afternoon in Riverside has been named. Shyanne Mitchell, aged 30, was declared deceased at the scene located in the 4700 block of Opperman Avenue, as reported by Montgomery County Coroner Dr. Kent Harshbarger.
Riverside police were dispatched to the area shortly before 3 p.m. on Friday following reports of a shooting. “At this time, we are treating it as a homicide,” stated Riverside police Maj. Angela Jackson on Friday. “I do not possess all the details regarding the events that have occurred thus far, but we currently have a suspect in custody and are interviewing several witnesses.”
