Sharon Cerullo Obituary, Death;- A woman from Massachusetts, who tragically lost her life in a house fire in Easton, was honored in her obituary for her warmth and commitment to her family.
Sharon Cerullo, aged 74, perished in a fire at 44 North Main Street in Easton, which occurred on January 8, as reported by the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Firefighters initially arrived on the scene believing it to be a false alarm or a medical emergency, rather than a structural fire.
Cerullo was celebrated for her affection towards her family and animals. She enjoyed preparing meals to unite people and had a deep love for all creatures, including her pet geese.
She is survived by several family members, including her son Jacob, daughter Soleil, sister Hazel, and brother Steven, among many others.
“She was a caring aunt, a loving mother-in-law, and a loyal friend to many. Family was the focal point of Sharon’s life, and she devoted her heart to every role she embraced,” the obituary stated.
Cerullo was a devoted mother, actively volunteering as a Cub Scout leader and coaching various activities such as karate, dance, swimming, soccer, and softball.
She was remembered for her sharp wit and her passion for history, enjoying legal dramas and staying updated with fashion trends. She also taught a chess club and possessed a competitive nature.
Cerullo dedicated over 20 years of her career to UPS, where she formed lasting friendships. In her younger years, she had a passion for art, motorcycle riding, and traveling.
“Rest assured, she never lost a game,” the obituary noted.
Above all, Cerullo was recognized for her selflessness and generosity. Her laughter was contagious, and she was always available to assist those in need.
“Her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will endure in every shared memory and every life forever transformed by her presence. She will be profoundly missed,” her obituary expressed.
Funeral services for Cerullo are scheduled to take place at the Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, located at 824 Washington St., Canton, MA, on January 20 at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
