Shane McManamy Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the pedestrian who was tragically killed in a suspected drunk driving incident last week in Cumberland County, as well as the motorist who has been charged in connection with the fatality.

Shane McManamy, a 44-year-old resident of Millville, was attempting to cross West Main Street/Route 49 in the 500 block of Millville at approximately 9:15 p.m. on September 4 when he was struck by an SUV and subsequently pronounced dead at the scene, as reported by city police.

The driver, identified on Monday as Robert W. Johnson, a 61-year-old from Norma in Pittsgrove Township, Salem County, has been charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and has received citations for driving under the influence and reckless driving, according to police reports.
