Sarah Jones,Kale Olson Obituary, Death; – The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the woman and girl who lost their lives in a collision with a semi-truck on Interstate 94 on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased are Sarah Jones, aged 42, and her 15-year-old passenger, Kale Olson, both residents of Minneapolis. The incident occurred when the Toyota Prius driven by Jones collided with the rear of a semi-trailer near mile marker 145 in Albany Township at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. According to the State Patrol’s crash report, neither victim was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. The driver of the semi-truck, a 21-year-old male, sustained no injuries but was transported to Melrose Hospital for evaluation.
