Saban Ntobeko Exavier Makhubu Obituary, Death; – A body retrieved from Lake Michigan at a North Side beach on Saturday morning has been officially identified, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office on Monday.
Law enforcement officials arrived at Montrose Beach, located near the 500-block of West Lawrence Avenue in the Uptown neighborhood, at approximately 10:30 a.m. They discovered an unresponsive male in the water, who was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
The medical examiner’s office later confirmed the identity of the individual as 25-year-old Saban Ntobeko Exavier Makhubu. Detectives from Area Three are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. Additional details from the police have not yet been released.
