Roberto Pierre Elias Zaldivar Arrested; – A man has been charged with murder following the discovery of a 15-year-old girl who was shot to death inside a vehicle over the weekend.
On March 2, shortly after midnight, officers from Chesterfield were dispatched to the 6300 block of Pewter Avenue in response to a report of a shooting incident. Upon their arrival, law enforcement officials found the deceased 15-year-old girl and an adult male who was suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
According to Chesterfield Police, the adult male, identified as 30-year-old Roberto Pierre Elias Zaldivar from Colonial Heights, Virginia, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in connection with the death of the juvenile female. Authorities have indicated that Elias Zaldivar and the teenager were acquainted with one another.
Currently, the investigation suggests that this incident is isolated, and police are not seeking any additional suspects, as stated by Chesterfield Police.
