Robert Dent Obituary, Death; – D.C. police have apprehended a suspect in a stabbing incident related to domestic issues that resulted in the death of a man in Southwest D.C. on July 26.
As reported by the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance on Galveston Street at approximately 6:40 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male, later identified as 63-year-old Robert Dent, suffering from stab wounds.
Emergency responders arrived promptly and attempted to perform lifesaving procedures; however, Dent unfortunately did not survive.
Subsequently, officers were able to locate and apprehend Anna Hyman, 22, from Southeast D.C. She has been charged with second-degree murder while armed. The MPD has indicated that the case is of a domestic nature.
