Ricky Kiesel,Jason Born Obituary, Death; – The Warrick County Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identities of the two individuals who perished in the tragic accident on Wednesday.

The deceased have been named as Ricky Kiesel, aged 74, from Newburgh, and Jason Born, aged 52, from Evansville.

The investigation into the cause and manner of death is ongoing. An autopsy is set to take place on Thursday.

The incident is still being examined by the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Indiana State Police.

As reported by the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office, the department attended to a two-vehicle collision that occurred early Wednesday morning at the junction of SR 66 and Epworth Road. Sheriff Mike Wilder indicated that each vehicle had only one occupant, both of whom were fatally injured.

“Vehicle one was traveling in the wrong direction, which led to the accident,” Wilder stated. “Vehicle one was moving westbound in the eastbound lane of (Indiana) 66 when it struck vehicle two, which was traveling eastbound in the eastbound lane of (Indiana) 66.”
