Ricky Dontaye Wilson Obituary, Death; – On September 4 at 3:35 p.m., law enforcement officials were dispatched to the vicinity of Middletown Road near Lyles Place in Waldorf following reports of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered that a pedestrian, identified as Ricky Dontaye Wilson, a 38-year-old resident of Waldorf, was crossing the street outside of a designated crosswalk when he was struck by a dump truck. Tragically, Mr. Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the dump truck remained at the location.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to reach out to PFC Skodzinski of the CCSO Traffic Operations Unit at 301-932-3056. The investigation into the matter is currently ongoing.
