Richard Culp Obituary, Death; – On Friday, November 29, at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers from the Mobile Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Schillinger Road and Wards Lane in Semmes in response to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.
The victim has been identified as 37-year-old Richard Culp, a resident of Semmes. Mr. Culp was walking along Wards Lane near Schillinger Road when he was hit by a vehicle that subsequently fled the scene.
Investigators have gathered evidence suggesting that the vehicle involved in the incident is a Ford Explorer, which is now missing its driver-side mirror and has sustained damage to the driver-side headlight. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact 251-866-5527.
