Reagan Lynn Wilson Obituary, Death; – A man from Missouri has been taken into custody on charges of murdering his wife and their unborn child at their residence earlier this summer.
Sidney Fredrick Wilson V faces charges for the murder of Reagan Lynn Wilson and their unborn son, Silas, who were fatally shot at their home on June 5. According to police reports, Reagan succumbed shortly after the incident, while Silas passed away on June 13.
“Our entire team grieves the loss of this young mother and her child,” stated Lebanon Police Chief Jerry Harrison in a press release regarding the arrest. “Our team, along with our partners, is appalled by this tragic loss of life and will tirelessly seek justice for Reagan and her child.” Reagan’s obituary suggests that the couple had separated, referring to Sidney as “Silas’ father” and mentioning another “significant other.”
In a probable cause statement, investigators revealed that a doorbell camera recorded gunfire at the couple’s residence, as reported by the Springfield News-Leader. When questioned by the police, Sidney initially claimed he had been at home throughout the evening. However, investigators indicated that cell phone data contradicted his account. Officers also observed that Sidney “never once inquired about the status of the investigation or our progress in locating a suspect; he only wanted to know when he could retrieve his vehicle.”
Furthermore, investigators noted that bullets recovered from the crime scene matched a firearm owned by Sidney, and video footage from a nearby residence captured a male later identified as Sidney, according to KOLR.
