Randell Case Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the individual who lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 15 in Bannock County last week.
The deceased has been recognized as 47-year-old Randell Case from Pocatello, as stated by Bannock County Coroner Torey Danner.
The incident took place on Friday at approximately 2 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-15, close to milepost 70. According to Idaho State Police troopers, the man was operating a 1997 Mitsubishi 3000 GT in a northbound direction when his vehicle deviated from the roadway, impacted a guardrail, went over it, and subsequently struck a pillar of the Monte Vista overpass, as reported by ISP.
Case was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Idaho State Police are actively pursuing an investigation into the details surrounding the event.
“I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to Randell’s family and friends during this challenging period,” Danner remarked in a statement.
