Randall Eugene Pearson GENERAL; – Investigators in Lee County have initiated an inquiry into a homicide that took place early Sunday morning.
Sheriff Jay Jones of Lee County confirmed that the sheriff’s office received a report of an individual suffering from a gunshot wound at approximately 12:30 A.M. CDT on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the Opelika Mobile Home Park located on Walnut Street.
The victim, a 31-year-old male, was taken to the emergency room at East Alabama Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The identity of the victim has yet to be disclosed.
As per the inmate docket, 32-year-old Randall Eugene Pearson has been booked into the Lee County Jail on a charge of murder.
