Phillip Burleson Obituary, Death; – A 69-year-old man from Glastonbury, Michael Taylor, has been arrested following the fatal incident involving a 61-year-old pedestrian on Glastonbury Boulevard earlier this year, as reported by the police.
Taylor was apprehended last week on a warrant and faces charges of negligent homicide with a motor vehicle, excessive speed, and failure to yield to a pedestrian. On the evening of January 11, three pedestrians were utilizing a crosswalk when one was struck. The victim, identified as Phillip Burleson, succumbed to his injuries three days later.
Authorities noted that Taylor remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. He has since been released on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Manchester on May 15.
