Philip Miller,Wendell Miller Obituary, Death; – Two men are dead and a woman is seriously injured after a tree fell on their vehicle in Vinton County Sunday night.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers were called on a report of a single-vehicle crash around 9 p.m. on U.S. Route 50 near Weaver Church Road in Knox Township.

OSHP said a Nissan Altima was traveling westbound on Route 50 when it was struck by a falling tree. The vehicle then traveled off the left side of the road and struck an embankment in a creek.

The driver and front seat passenger, identified as 46-year-old Philip Miller and 70-year-old Wendell Miller, were pronounced dead at the scene. A woman in the rear passenger seat was transported to Grant Medical Center with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
