Paulin Harusha Obituary, Death; – Toronto police have identified the individual who was fatally shot in Scarborough during a late-night incident over the weekend.
The event occurred shortly before midnight on September 13, in the vicinity of Victoria Park Avenue and Sheppard Avenue East. Officers were dispatched to the location at approximately 11:56 p.m. following reports of gunfire.
Upon their arrival, law enforcement discovered 43-year-old Paulin Harusha inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Despite the life-saving measures taken by first responders, he was declared deceased at the scene.
Investigators report that the suspects escaped prior to the arrival of the police, departing the area in a light-coloured SUV. No descriptions of the suspects have been made public.
Authorities are requesting assistance from the community. Residents, business owners, and motorists who were in the vicinity at the time are encouraged to check any security or dash camera footage that could aid in identifying the suspects or the vehicle.
