Parker Ward Bolenbaugh Obituary, Death; – The individual who passed away early Sunday morning in Sacramento after falling from a sixth-floor balcony has been named.

Parker Ward Bolenbaugh, 39, from Citrus Heights, allegedly broke into a building located at 1750 Howe Ave., which is linked to the employment agency SearchPros, around 2:30 a.m. He inflicted damages exceeding $100,000 before activating the fire alarm and gaining access to the balcony, as stated by Sgt. Amar Gandhi, a spokesman for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

Approximately one minute later, Bolenbaugh climbed over the railing and subsequently fell, according to law enforcement officials. CPR was performed, and he was transported to the hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.

“He made some concerning remarks such as ‘What are you going to do? Kill me?’ and similar statements,” Gandhi remarked. “Therefore, we are uncertain if he was experiencing a mental health crisis or possibly under the influence of substances.”

Gandhi noted that he caused extensive damage but was “clearly” not present with the intent to steal.

“A representative from SearchPros informed ABC10 on Sunday afternoon that the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department has been in communication with us regarding this unfortunate event. We are deeply saddened by the loss of life. The burglary suspect has no affiliation with SearchPros. We extend our gratitude to the police and fire departments for their efforts in handling this situation.”

The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District was the first agency to arrive on the scene after 2:30 a.m. in response to the internal alarm of the business. Deputies reportedly reached the location just before 3 a.m.
