Nolan King Death; – Two teenagers have been apprehended following the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old outside a business and residential building in South Miami on Sunday, which occurred after a dispute. Homicide investigators have identified the victim as Nolan King.
According to police reports, the incident took place around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, during an altercation outside an apartment complex located at SW 64th Street and 59th Place in South Miami. King was transported to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Detectives informed NBC6 that the confrontation involved King and two other individuals. “The individuals were acquainted with the victim. They were present at this location together,” stated Miami-Dade Police Detective Andre Martin.
Police indicated that they received a report regarding the shooting and a potential suspect vehicle. Shortly thereafter, officers located the getaway car; however, the suspects fled on foot near South Dixie Highway and SW 104th Street. The two suspects, aged 18 and 19, were ultimately apprehended and detained as potential perpetrators in the homicide. The identities of the suspects have not yet been disclosed.
