Nicholas Camillo Obituary, Death; – Solebury Township Police are currently investigating a fatal accident involving a single vehicle on Route 32 (River Road) that resulted in the death of a 26-year-old man from Plumstead on Friday night.

Authorities reported that they received a call regarding the incident at approximately 8:35 p.m. on December 6. A vehicle traveling southbound on Route 32, near Chapel Road, veered onto the shoulder and collided with a tree. The driver, identified as Nicholas Camillo, 26, from Plumstead Township, was trapped within the vehicle and was subsequently extricated by personnel from the New Hope Eagle Fire Company. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Preliminary findings from the police indicate that excessive speed may have contributed to the crash. Further information will be provided as it becomes available. The Solebury Township Police Department is urging any witnesses to come forward and contact them at 215-328-8511 or through the “submit a tip” feature on the CrimeWatch website. Assistance at the scene was provided by the New Hope Borough Police, New Hope Eagle Fire Company, Lambertville New Hope Ambulance, and Central Bucks EMS.
