Nathan Robertson Death; – A 43-year-old man from rural Mackinaw lost his life on Monday as a result of a shed fire. Nathan Robertson was declared deceased at 8:15 p.m. on Monday, as reported by the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office. They were summoned to the location of the shed fire in Mackinaw at 6:43 p.m. after receiving notification of a fatality at the site.
Coroner Charles Hanley stated that an autopsy performed on Tuesday determined that Robertson’s death was caused by the inhalation of smoke and soot from the fire. The coroner’s office, in conjunction with the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office, is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fire, alongside the Illinois State Police and the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal.
