Nancy Krauss Obituary, Death; – Authorities have disclosed new information regarding a deadly multi-vehicle accident that occurred on Thanksgiving Eve in South Brunswick.

Nancy Krauss, aged 61, from Kendall Park, has been confirmed as the individual who lost her life in the crash on November 26 on New Road, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and South Brunswick Police Chief Raymond Hayducka.

The incident transpired at approximately 4:30 p.m. when three vehicles collided on New Road, situated between Route 522 and Route 1.

A police inquiry into the accident indicated that a 2017 Subaru Legacy, operated by a 24-year-old woman from Manalapan, was heading westbound on New Road when she crossed the double yellow line and collided with a 2000 Dodge Caravan, which was being driven by Krauss, as stated by Ciccone.

Consequently, due to the initial impact, authorities reported that a third vehicle, a 2012 Subaru Outback driven by a 42-year-old woman from Kendall Park, rear-ended the Dodge Caravan.
The operator of the 2017 Subaru Legacy was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital with minor injuries, while the driver of the 2012 Subaru Outback reported no injuries, according to Ciccone.

Krauss was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in critical condition and unfortunately passed away later that evening.

The investigation into the accident remains active and ongoing, as noted by Ciccone.

Individuals with any information are encouraged to contact Officer James Kraivec of the South Brunswick Police Department at 732-329-4000 or Detective James Barnes of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office at 732-745-3437.
