Michael Schankerman Obituary, Death; – A man who succumbed to drowning in Alpine County has been named.
On Sunday afternoon, at approximately 2:45 p.m., emergency medical services were dispatched to a location in the Mesa Vista region following reports of a drowning incident. Upon their arrival, they discovered 66-year-old Michael Schankerman in an unresponsive state.
Schankerman was extricated from the bathtub prior to the commencement of life-saving efforts; however, these attempts proved to be unsuccessful. O
