McKinley Lazard Obituary, Death; – The Sulphur Police Department has identified the victim in a deadly hit-and-run on I-10 Westbound earlier this week.
Around 6:50 a.m. on July 30, Sulphur police officers found a man dead near the Beglis Parkway and La. 108 section of the interstate.
Police identified the victim today as McKinley Lazard, 52, of Opelousas. According to investigators, Lazard was walking along I-10 during the overnight to early morning hours and was hit by an unknown vehicle.
