Maurice White Obituary, Death; – Two years following the tragic shooting death of Maurice White in Houston’s Third Ward, law enforcement is once again appealing for public assistance in gathering information.
Crime Stoppers of Houston, in collaboration with the Houston Police Department, is organizing a press conference aimed at soliciting help from the community to resolve the murder that occurred in 2022.
What transpired?
On May 20, 2022, at approximately 10:50 a.m., Maurice White, aged 29, was fatally shot in the 3400 block of Tuam Street, located in Houston’s Third Ward.
According to the Houston Police Department, two individuals emerged from a white Ford F-250 Crew Cab and discharged multiple rounds at White, who was seated in his vehicle. White unfortunately succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the incident. The assailants subsequently fled the area in the white truck. Investigators have yet to determine a motive for this crime.
