Marshall Cole Woods Obituary, Death; – A 19-year-old individual has lost his life as a result of a single-vehicle accident in Phenix City. As reported by the Russell County Coroner’s Office, Marshall Cole Woods was declared deceased at the scene shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Authorities indicated that the incident occurred on the Colin Powell exit ramp from Hwy. 280.
Coroner Arthur Sumbry Jr. stated that the deceased sustained blunt force trauma. Woods’ remains will be forwarded to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy. Additional information regarding the accident has not yet been disclosed.
