Mark Odom Obituary, Death; – The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has confirmed the identity of the individual who was fatally shot last week in Southeast Washington, D.C. The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Mark Odom, who was reportedly homeless.
As per the MPD, officers were dispatched to the scene of the shooting in the 2000 block of Wade Road at approximately 5:15 p.m. on December 5. Upon arrival, they discovered Odom with a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel transported him to a nearby hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the shooting to contact 202-727-9099 or send a text to MPD’s Tip Line at 50411. The police department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that results in an arrest and conviction.
