Mark Loren McVicker Obituary, Death; – A 64-year-old man lost his life in an accident on Highway 224 in Clackamas County on Tuesday morning. Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 8:30 a.m. following reports of a collision near milepost 12 on Highway 224.
According to the Oregon State Police, the investigation revealed that a red Dodge pickup was traveling westbound when it veered off the road, struck a tree, and subsequently rolled down a steep embankment, coming to a stop approximately 40 feet below.
The driver of the pickup, identified as Mark Loren McVicker from Sandy, was pronounced dead at the scene. Traffic on Highway 224 experienced disruptions for approximately four hours while the investigation was conducted.
