Mark Alan Rasmussen Obituary, Death; – A 62-year-old man has been confirmed as the individual who lost his life in a motorcycle accident that occurred on Friday, November 29, in Northeast El Paso, as reported by the El Paso Police Department.
Authorities indicated that they were dispatched to the scene of a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle at 2:30 p.m. that day, specifically at the intersection of Deer Avenue and Dyer Street.
Mark Alan Rasmussen, aged 62, was riding his motorcycle southbound on Dyer Street as he approached the intersection with Deer Avenue. Simultaneously, a woman driving a Dodge Charger was heading north on Dyer Street and also nearing the intersection. As both vehicles reached the intersection, the woman made a left turn directly in front of Rasmussen, leading to the collision.
Following the incident, Rasmussen was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The police have not disclosed whether the woman involved will face any charges. This incident marks the 63rd fatality on the roads this year, in contrast to 75 fatalities recorded in the previous year.
