Maria Silvia Gonzalez Gandara,Isidro Felix Lopez Obituary, Death; – The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a man and woman killed in a murder-suicide in southeast Bakersfield Wednesday evening.
The woman was identified as Maria Silvia Gonzalez Gandara, 48, of Bakersfield, according to the coroner’s office. The man was identified as Isidro Felix Lopez, a 48-year-old from Bakersfield. Both were pronounced dead at the scene on Buckley Avenue, just before 6:30 p.m.
The call for a shooting came in at about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday in 500 block of Buckley Avenue near South Union Avenue and East Panama Lane, according to officials with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office told 17 News that it appears there was a domestic dispute and a man shot his wife then himself.
