Maria Paredes Obituary, Death;- The individual who tragically lost her life after being struck by a vehicle in Fresno County has been named as 74-year-old Maria Paredes.
According to investigators, she was navigating the westbound lanes of Clinton Avenue, just east of Bond Street, with the assistance of a walker at approximately 5:30 am on Saturday when the incident occurred.
The driver promptly halted and contacted emergency services, but unfortunately, Paredes succumbed to her injuries. Authorities have noted that the location is particularly dim due to the absence of street lighting. There is no indication that alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
