Maria De La Rosa Obituary, Death; – Authorities are conducting an investigation into the deadly shooting of a 22-year-old woman in Northridge that occurred over the weekend, which is being considered as potentially gang-related, and the search for the suspects is ongoing.
The incident took place at approximately 1:40 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, near the intersection of Bryant Street and Tampa Avenue, as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to witnesses, two men approached a parked vehicle occupied by several individuals and discharged their firearms multiple times at those inside.
The victim, identified as Maria De La Rosa, was transported to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear.
As of now, no arrests have been made in relation to the woman’s death.
The LAPD has not been able to verify claims that two additional individuals sustained critical injuries during the shooting.
