Leonardo Ricco,Antonio Guell Obituary, Death; – Three individuals lost their lives in distinct accidents on Sunday and early Monday along the Mississippi Coast. According to Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer, Leonardo Ricco, 45, from Biloxi, passed away on Sunday night on the Popp’s Ferry Bridge.

Ricco was heading north when a vehicle traveling south collided with him, as reported by the coroner. He succumbed to blunt force trauma at the scene. Additionally, authorities attended to an accident at 1:07 a.m. on Monday on Interstate 10, situated between Diamondhead and Kiln Delisle Road. Switzer indicated that a car heading east entered a lane that was closed for construction and struck a backhoe.

This section of I-10 is undergoing construction, and Switzer noted that only one lane was accessible overnight. The driver, 75-year-old Antonio Guell from Florida, was pronounced dead at the scene. Furthermore, a motorcyclist also lost his life around 5:17 a.m. on Monday in Gulfport, as stated by Switzer.

He identified the deceased as Reese Shavers, 58, from Perkinston. Shavers was traveling south on Cowan-Lorraine Road, just south of Seaway Road, when he collided with another vehicle, according to Switzer. He died at the scene.
