Lawrence N Viscio Obituary, Death; – State Police on Wednesday identified the person found dead near the Patroon Island Bridge Tuesday. It’s still unclear how the person died. Lawrence N. Viscio, 58, of Albany, was found by state Department of Transportation workers on Interstate 90 eastbound on Tuesday morning, according to State Police. State Police responded to the scene, just east of the bridge and just before Exit 7, at around 8:24 a.m.
Viscio’s cause of death is not yet clear; an autopsy will be conducted, according to State Police. The case is still under investigation. Police declined to share further details as of Wednesday afternoon. The right lane of traffic was closed for about 90 minutes on Tuesday as police investigated before it reopened. There is no indication at this time the death is suspicious, Trooper Stephanie O’Neil told the Times Union this week.
