Larry Tesseo Obituary, Death;- A 55-year-old man has passed away following a collision in Augusta, as reported by authorities on Wednesday.
The Richmond County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the deceased as Larry Tesseo, a resident of Augusta.
Coroner Mark Bowen stated that the incident occurred on Tuesday when Tesseo was riding an electric scooter while attempting to cross Peach Orchard Road at Harding Road.
Tesseo was subsequently struck by a pickup truck traveling southbound, according to officials.
He was taken to Wellstar MCG hospital, where he was declared dead at 4:50 p.m.
The coroner’s office indicated that his death resulted from injuries sustained in the collision.
