Kurtis Haynes Obituary, Death;- Authorities identified a 40-year-old pedestrian who was struck and killed on a freeway transition road in Long Beach on Wednesday.
California Highway Patrol officers arrived at approximately 8:55 p.m. on Tuesday at the connector from the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway to the southbound Long Beach (710) Freeway, where they discovered the victim along with two vehicles believed to be involved in the incident, as stated by Officer Ramon Kendricks to City News Service.
The victim, identified by the county Medical Examiner’s office as Kurtis Haynes, was declared dead at the scene. His place of residence has not been disclosed at this time.
The CHP is currently conducting an investigation into the collision.
