Kevin Miller Obituary, Death; – On Tuesday, the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Department announced the identification of a man who perished last month as a result of a house fire.
The incident took place in the 1800 block of East Memorial Drive on August 22, with the fire being reported shortly after noon. Kevin Miller, aged 57, was declared dead at the scene. The specifics regarding the cause and manner of his death have not been disclosed, as further testing is currently in progress.
Fire Marshal Nathan Simmons indicated that the fire was ignited by improperly disposed of smoking materials. Additionally, it was noted that the residence lacked functional smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
