Kenneth Lemar Richards Obituary, Death; – The Allen County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the individual fatally shot on E Lewis Street on Tuesday morning as a 53-year-old resident of Fort Wayne.
The victim has been identified as Kenneth Lemar Richards, aged 53, from Fort Wayne. His death has been classified as a homicide, representing the third such incident in Allen County this year. Authorities responded to a residence in the 1400 block of E Lewis Street, located near Indiana Tech, at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday following reports of a shooting.
According to FWPD Public Information Officer Jeremy Webb, upon arrival, officers discovered Richards with gunshot wounds. He was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel. Later that day, police announced the arrest of 24-year-old Kenneth King in connection with the incident.
