Kennedy Freeman Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of a 22-year-old woman from Gaston, S.C., who tragically lost her life after being hit by a vehicle.
Kennedy Freeman was walking southward in the northbound lane of Columbia Highway, close to Bogeyville Road, around 7:18 p.m. when she was struck by a Chevrolet Camaro traveling north, as reported by Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables on Monday.
Freeman was pronounced dead at 8:16 p.m. on Sunday at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. The driver of the vehicle sustained no injuries. A toxicology report is currently pending.
